Case involved failure to determine cause of heart failure and improper transfer to lower level of care for Laura Staib, 39, who died from congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and sepsis. Damages sought for past and future loss of support, services, companionship, parental instruction, guidance, protection, mental anguish, and pain and suffering.
