Case Details

The Indiana Department of Child Services settled a federal lawsuit for $1.375 million with an Indianapolis couple (Adam and Laura Hope Huff) who claimed their constitutional rights were violated when their children were wrongfully removed from home. Tom Blessing represented the Huffs.

Additional Notes

DCS allegedly made false representations and discriminated against Laura Huff due to her disability. Adam Huff's name was expunged from the Child Protection Index. Case is Huff, et al v. Indiana Department of Child Services, et al, 1:20-cv-02435.
