Ronald Citrenbaum, Esq. obtained a unanimous no cause verdict from a Monmouth County jury in favor of a condominium association. Plaintiff alleged permanent, debilitating injury from slipping on a wet, slippery substance on the linoleum floor outside the sauna located in the locker room.
Additional Notes
Defense argued plaintiff had not identified the substance, how it got there, nor for how long it was there, and that plaintiff's expert found the floor's slip resistance acceptable. The eight-member jury deliberated for approximately 65 minutes and returned a defense verdict.
