Hadassa Sara Erlich sued Adass Israel School Inc for damages relating to sexual abuse she suffered as a student and employee by the school’s headmistress, Mrs Malka Leifer. The Victorian Supreme Court found in favour of the survivor on multiple grounds, including direct and vicarious liability.
