After witnessing what was described as an almost stillborn like birth, a grandmother suffered trauma and distress. The judge in the case was convinced that the medical staff had failed to deal adequately with the birthing process in which the infant suffered injuries which led to neurological damage. It appeared also that the hospital had been involved in destroying records for the purposes of a cover up.
