Plaintiff alleged the gastroenterologist was negligent in performing a polypectomy during a screening colonoscopy, causing a colon perforation. Plaintiff claimed the use of a 'hot' snare for a 5mm polyp breached the standard of care. Court: Prince William County Circuit Court.
