Plaintiff was a woman in her late 20s who was hit head on at high speed by a box truck that crossed over the center dividing line, causing fractures of both femurs, her ankle and her knee requiring multiple surgeries with hardware implantation. The case was intensely litigated and both parties hired a number of experts to testify as to the plaintiff’s injuries, future medical care and capacity to earn a living.
