Eva Echeverria awarded the largest single settlement in a talcum powder ovarian cancer lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson. Verdict later overturned in 2017 by a California Superior Court judge, ruling the amount excessive and requiring a new trial. Plaintiff passed away one month after winning the case.
