Sex Offense

Client charged with a serious sex crime in Utah, facing lifetime sex offender registration and potential prison. Police missed evidence. DUI

Client charged with driving under the influence, facing hefty fines and mandatory jail time. We worked diligently to get the charge of driving under the influence reduced to impaired driving. As a result, our client did not spend any time in jail and kept their driver’s license.

Assault

Client charged with assault after being in an argument with another person. The alleged victim claimed that our client hit them. This case was challenging because it was a “he-said, she-said” case with no physical evidence. We conducted our investigation and proved that our client acted in self-defense and did not commit a crime. The case was dismissed.

Intoxication

Client arrested and charged with intoxication after the police were called to their house for an unrelated issue. This case was particularly challenging because, like many people, being arrested and charged with an offense jeopardized our client’s job. We proved our client did nothing wrong, and the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the case.

Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

This case involved allegations that our client threatened their spouse during an argument with a firearm. Cases like this are particularly challenging because they are often “he-said, she-said” cases with no physical evidence. We worked tirelessly to prove that the alleged victim had the motivation to lie to the police about our client. Through a detailed investigation, we proved that the alleged victim had committed a criminal offense, not our client. The prosecutor’s office never filed charges.

Aggravated Assault

Client falsely accused of aggravated assault, arrested and held in jail. We proved several lies and inconsistencies from the alleged victim and argued for client's immediate release. After investigating several more witnesses and providing evidence regarding our client’s credibility and lack of safety risk, we were able to negotiate a dismissal without our client ever having to go to trial.
