A jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Joe Traylor’s client in a Clark County case involving a plaintiff who was injured trying to separate his pit bull from a fight with defendant’s black lab in plaintiff’s back yard. Plaintiff needed over $20,000 in hand surgery to repair bite damage caused when one of the dogs bit him. The Jury concluded defendant was not at fault as plaintiff’s veracity problems kept him from establishing all of the elements necessary to win his case.

Joe Traylor secures defense verdict for Adlerhorst International, a leading supplier of German Shephards to police departments. One of the German shepherds sold to the Sherwood police department bit the police chief and then later officer Nathan Powell who sued after suffering a severe bite to his forearm which required surgery and nearly $60,000 in medical expenses. A Federal Court jury found for Traylor’s client.

Auto Accident Defense

A Multnomah County jury returned a unanimous defense verdict for Traylor’s client who had rear-ended the plaintiff and caused substantial damage to her vehicle. Plaintiff was seeking $2.2 million in damages for a brain injury. Traylor convinced the jury that the brain injury was more likely than not caused by a prior accident.

Premises Liability Defense

Trial attorney Aaron Potter obtained a defense verdict following a 5-day trial in Multnomah County Circuit Court. Plaintiff claimed permanent back and leg injuries in a commercial premises liability suit seeking $1.5 million in damages. Jury returned a defense verdict.
