Trucking Accident

A husband and wife were traveling down the highway when they approached a thick wall of smoke. Unbeknownst to the husband and wife, they were approaching a broken down battery truck which was the cause of the smoke. Their vehicle made minor contact with this battery truck. After some time, another semi-truck entered the wall of smoke and broadsided our client’s vehicle. The husband died on the scene and the wife was permanently disabled.

A retired couple was burned in a propane gas explosion in Michigan. The husband died as a result of the burns received in the explosion. The wife survived, but she sustained critical burns. The case was based on negligent failure to warn about the defects of odorized propane as well as the retailer’s failure to respond to numerous calls by the Freelands regarding gas leaks.

Our client was at a trampoline park with his son when he did a front flip for the second time into the foam pit. Our client over-rotated his flip and landed on his head rendering him quadriplegic. It was found that the foam pit was not kept up to relevant industry standards. Plaintiff had to overcome a signed waiver argument and Defense’s argument that there are no required guidelines/standards for foam pits; therefore, owed no duty to Plaintiff.

Trucking Accident

A speeding semi-tractor, pulling a double tanker trailer broad-sided a vehicle that had slowed and was attempting an illegal u-turn. The wreck resulted in the wrongful death of the driver of the vehicle. Additionally, there were severe injuries to the pregnant passenger including the infliction of post traumatic cerebral palsy to the passenger’s son, who was in utero during the accident.
