Louis F. Hornstine

Louis F. Hornstine is a Founder and the President of Hornstine Law, LLC. He graduated from Temple Law School in December 1976 and has concentrated his legal career on trial practice, including criminal defense, personal injury, and matrimonial issues. He served as a Judge to the Superior Court of New Jersey from 1989 to 2009. He lectured at The National Judicial College and was an Adjunct Professor at Widener University Law School, also assisting at Harvard Law School's Trial Advocacy Workshop. He is a certified trial attorney in civil matters by the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Richard L. Vanderslice

Richard L. Vanderslice has been the sole shareholder of Richard L. Vanderslice, P.C. since 2008, having previously practiced with small- and medium-sized firms in Philadelphia and San Francisco. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, a Juris Doctorate, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas. His practice focuses on real estate and business litigation. He is the past chair of the Real Property Section for the Philadelphia Bar and has served as a board member for six years.

Blair Leah Hornstine

Blair Leah Hornstine is a Founder and the Managing Attorney of Hornstine Law, LLC in the Philadelphia office. She graduated from William and Mary School of Law in May 2010 and holds an MA degree with Distinction from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She interned with Justice Virginia Long of the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Department of Justice, Division of Civil Rights. She also served as a Post-Graduate Fellow with the Department of Homeland Security.

Buneka J. Islam

Buneka Islam joins Hornstine Law, LLC with a diverse background in Trusts & Estates and litigation. She practiced at a boutique law firm specializing in Trusts & Estates and also handled securities and corporate litigation. She graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a judicial intern for the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter and an intern at the Philadelphia Office of the District Attorney.

Patrick D. Quarles

Patrick D. Quarles, Esq. graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2013. He was chosen for the Family Law Internship Program and interned at the Community Law Program, providing legal services to low-income individuals. He also interned with the City Attorney’s Office in St. Petersburg, Florida. He graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University in 2008.

John A. Richert

John Richert is the Managing Attorney in Florida. He graduated from Stetson University College of Law in May 2013 and passed the Florida Bar Exam in July 2013. He also received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stetson University Graduate School of Business in May 2013. He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary (2010), majoring in finance with a concentration in accounting. He volunteered at the Community Law Program and was on the Honor Roll at Stetson for Fall 2012.
