D. Chad Nuce

D. Chad Nuce obtained his BA in Finance and MBA from the University of South Florida, then his JD from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. He has extensive trial experience, securing multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Miranda N. Hanley is a partner at Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC, joining in 2015. She has a successful litigation practice specializing in civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, premises liability, slip and falls, toxic mold illness, and workers’ compensation. She is a National Mock Trial Competition winner and focuses on helping her clients.

Alvah H. Pasley

Alvah H. Pasley graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1997 and from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001. He worked at Virgil L. Brown and Associates focusing on criminal defense litigation before starting his own firm and co-founding Pasley & Nuce, LLC in 2005. He is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and a former president of the Thomaston Bar Association.

Miranda N. Hanley

Miranda Hanley is a partner with Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC. Since joining the firm in 2015, Miranda has built a successful litigation practice specializing in the areas of personal injury, nursing home abuse, and workers’ compensation. Miranda has extensive litigation and trial experience and regularly litigates in both state and federal courts. She also has appellate experience in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and even the United States Supreme Court.

Marc A. Avidano is a partner and veteran trial lawyer at Smith, Welch, Webb and White. He joined the firm in 2006 after practicing in Florida for ten years, focusing on medical malpractice and insurance defense. His current practice includes various personal injury matters and civil litigation. He is the managing partner for the Peachtree City office.
