John Malone
John has been successfully representing injured people since 1983. He understands that good communication with his client is the key to understanding his client's goals, and intense preparation is essential to obtaining the best possible outcome for his client. He is consistently recognized by his peers in multiple legal publications, including Minnesota Monthly's Best Lawyers (annually since 2019) and US News and World Report's Best Lawyers (annually since 2016). John also combines his passion for the law with a commitment to public service. He served on the Orono School Board from 2000-2016, and as Orono School Board Chair from 2010-2016. During this time he was honored to serve a term as the Chair of the Association of Metropolitan School Districts, was recognized by the Minnesota Association of School Public Relations Association with the "School Board Communication Award" and was awarded the Orono School District "Leader of Character Award." John likes to spend his non-work time with his wife Diane, particularly hiking, travel, and golf. John spent many years coaching youth football, basketball and baseball, combining his love of teaching with his love of sports.

Heather Bailey
Heather joined Malone Bailey as an associate attorney in 2018. She grew up in Rochester, Minnesota. While in law school, Heather was a member of the Family Law and Child Advocacy Clinic, Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners, and was a member of the Civil Trial Advocacy Team. Heather simultaneously clerked for a reputable Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury firm in Downtown Minneapolis. She is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and Minnesota Association for Justice. Heather enjoys wineries, camping in the Boundary Waters, kayaking in Lake Superior, and hiking mountains.
John Raboin
John Raboin opened The Raboin Law Office in 1992. He received his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1981 and his law degree from Arizona State University in 1989, graduating with selection to the prestigious Order of Barristers. Before establishing his personal injury practice, John spent several years representing insurance companies. He has won a number of high profile cases in North Central Minnesota.
Michelle Francis
Michelle Francis joined the firm in 2012 and became a partner on January 1, 2017. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Park University in 2005 and attended law school at the University of Dayton School of Law, graduating with honors in personal and transactional law in 2011. Michelle is involved in community service, including The Rotary Club of Brainerd.

Nancy Drontle
Nancy Drontle joined Malone & Atchison (now, Malone Bailey) in 1993 when they opened their St. Cloud Office. She has worked alongside John Malone, Dennis Atchison, Elizabeth Henning and Heather Bailey. Nancy is responsible for working with clients throughout their claim to enhance the care and experience each client receives at Malone Bailey. In addition to client case work, she is also office manager of Malone Bailey. Nancy is widely respected throughout the workers’ compensation legal community for her expertise, her responsiveness and her attention to detail. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys biking, hiking, running, music, playing guitar, gardening, but most importantly, spending time with her husband and family, including six precious grandchildren who keep her laughing and bring her endless joy.

Deb Sorum
Deb Sorum joined our firm in 2014 as a Legal Secretary. Deb is the one who will welcome you when you first call our firm. Deb is responsible for answering the phone, calendaring, and accounts payable. She also helps out with transcription. She previously worked as an at-home medical transcriptionist for 20 years, and also has experience working in the legal and insurance fields. Deb enjoys crafting with her embroidery sewing machine, embroidery by hand, and crocheting. She plays piano as a part-time accompanist for her church. Her greatest joy is spending time with family and being a grandparent.

Amber Daniels
Amber joined Malone & Atchison in 2018 as a legal secretary. Amber’s experience includes working in medical transcription for 20 years before coming to Malone & Atchison. Amber is responsible for transcription of legal documents and correspondence, and many other office duties. You may also have the opportunity to speak with her as she helps out answering the phone. Amber’s passion is golf. She also enjoys running, biking, and hanging out with her two sons ages 21 and 18.
