Hon. J. Michael Baxley

Hon. J. Michael Baxley is a Retired Circuit Judge who manages the Jennings Law Charleston office. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1982. He has extensive experience in various legal and business settings, including serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives for twelve years and as a Circuit Court Judge from 2000 to 2014. His current practice focuses on significant business and catastrophic personal injury litigation. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina, the U.S. District Court District of South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Douglas Jennings, Jr. is a respected former state legislator and Compleat Lawyer Award recipient, who has been a legal champion for South Carolinians for over four decades. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1982 and began private practice in 1984.
