Melanie Welsch Allums joined her husband’s firm after graduating from Birmingham School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Bessemer Bar Association. John T. (Ivan) Stamps III is a professional trial attorney with over 20 years of experience, licensed in Alabama and Georgia. He graduated magna cum laude from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Paul Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Don L. Hall

Don L. Hall has practiced law for over 30 years, including 13 years in Birmingham before moving to Bessemer in 2003 to co-found a law firm with Tommy Tucker. He graduated from Samford University in 1985 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989. He is a past President of the Bessemer Bar Association. Since 2003, his practice has focused on civil litigation, including automobile accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, products liability, workers' compensation, wrongful death, pharmaceutical, and dram-shop cases, securing millions in settlements and judgments.

Brian M. Cloud

Brian M. Cloud is a Managing Partner at Cloud & Willis, LLC. He received his J.D. and M.B.A. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2001, and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1997. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2001 and the Alabama Bar in 2003. His practice focuses on real estate, corporate law, and creditors’ rights law, and he practices in state and federal courts in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

E. B. Harrison Willis

E. B. Harrison Willis is a Managing Partner at Cloud & Willis, LLC. He received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2001, and a B.A. from Rhodes College in 1997. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2001 and the Alabama Bar in 2002. His practice emphasizes Business Law, Creditors’ Rights, and Real Estate litigation, and he practices in state and federal courts in Alabama.

Tommy Tucker

Tommy Tucker has practiced law for over 40 years, primarily handling criminal defense, family law, and divorce cases. A cum laude graduate of Cumberland School of Law (1977), he served as a prosecutor for nearly six years with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s office before entering private practice. He later returned to the DA's office for four years before re-entering private practice and joining Don Hall in 2003. His experience on both sides of criminal law provides a deep understanding of achieving success. He has expanded his practice to include family law, which now constitutes over half of his work. Tucker has served as a municipal judge in Hueytown and Pleasant Grove and was president of the Alabama Municipal Judges Association in 1995 and the Bessemer Bar Association in 2009.

Scott Allums is an attorney at Allums Welsch, PC, specializing in bankruptcy law. He has been helping people in debt file for bankruptcy for almost 20 years, with extensive knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
