Brett D. Altman

Steven P. Karfis
Steven P. Karfis has been involved in the personal injury field representing and helping clients since graduating from Michigan State University in December 1990. After receiving his criminal justice degree from Michigan State University, he began working for a personal injury law firm in September 1991. He worked as a law clerk where he interviewed clients and initiated investigations. While working for the personal injury law firm, Steven began taking night classes at Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. Bradley B. Harris
Bradley B. Harris was born and raised in metropolitan Detroit. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Cum Laude, in 1997. He has earned a reputation as a champion for the rights of individuals, focusing his practice on personal injury cases from motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other acts of negligence, as well as disability and auto insurance disputes. Kulwant S. Boora, Esq., is the Principal and Founder of The Boora Law Group. Attorney Boora is also admitted to the practice of law in the United Kingdom. Duncan Brown
Duncan H. Brown is the manager of Zamler, Shiffman & Karfis, P.C. Toxic and Asbestos Departments. He graduated from the University of Detroit Law School in 1986, and was a clerk for the Michigan Court of Appeals from 1986-1987. He is a member of the Michigan Bar and has been admitted to both Federal District Courts for Michigan, several other states Federal District Courts, the Federal 6th Ciruit court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. Mr. Brown has handled product liability, toxic substance liability, tort action and transactional actions from State and Federal District Courts through Appellate Courts and Supreme Courts. Throughout his thirty-three year legal career Mr. Brown has handled a wide variety of toxic environmental exposure personal injury and premise liability actions related to asbestos, formaldehyde, benzene, lead, herbicides and industrial fumes, mists and solvents. He has handled asbestos personal injury and premises liability actions throughout the State of Michigan and several other states. He has tried numerous asbestos actions in Michigan, and authored and argued several asbestos-related issues in the Appellate Courts of Michigan. Andrew Franklin

After that, he spent five years representing insurance companies as a defense attorney.
