Jay Manuel

Jay Manuel is a founding partner of Manuel & Thompson, P.A. and a practicing attorney with 35 years of experience. R. Waylon Thompson is a founding partner of Manuel & Thompson, P.A. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar since 1999 and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2001. He has an “AV” Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recertified every 5 years for the last 20 years.

Zachary B. Taylor

Zachary “Zach” Taylor joined the firm in 2003. He specializes in all types of personal injury, auto accidents, hurricane claims, insurance disputes, and wrongful death cases. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar.

Lauren K. Dodge

Lauren Dodge is an attorney at Manuel & Thompson, P.A., and has been practicing law with the firm since 2019. Lauren practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on first-party property claims, bad faith claims, personal injury, premises liability and eminent domain. She also handles civil forfeiture cases as the Deputy General Counsel for the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.

Peter Egan

Peter Egan joined Manuel & Thompson, P.A. in 2020 and brings with him 19 years of litigation, trial, negotiation, and claim valuation experience. He decided to shift the focus of his practice to represent injured persons in Northwest Florida, using his knowledge of insurance companies' inner workings.
