Steven Zweig

For 29 years, Steve has worked as a trial lawyer, providing tenacious representation to people and companies. He has obtained a number of seven figure settlements. He has tried cases throughout New York in state and federal court and argued more than 25 appeals. He also counsels companies on contract, insurance, risk management, e-commerce, and indemnification issues. Steve frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator. He has lectured at continuing legal education programs and taught deposition technique to attorneys employed by the United States Navy. Brian Birenbach

Brian Birenbach concentrates his practice on civil litigation, representing corporations and individuals. His practice areas include product liability, personal injury, sports and recreation liability, professional liability, premises litigation, commercial, construction, employment, civil rights, and first-party insurance matters. He also handles appeals in state and federal court. Before moving to Colorado, Brian was a partner at a large Buffalo, New York, law firm, representing ski resorts, shops, and manufacturers. He has obtained numerous decisions limiting the liability of his ski industry clients. He is a member of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys and a frequent speaker on ski industry liability. Committed to public service, Brian is a current member of the Town of Silverthorne Planning Commission and a past member of the Town of Frisco Planning Commission and Summit County Board of Adjustment. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1991 and obtained his law degree from Syracuse University in 1994. He is admitted to practice in New York, Colorado, and Florida.

Maryjo devotes a substantial portion of her time serving the needs of individuals in divorce and family law. She is a 25-year trial attorney with experience resolving issues through negotiated settlement or trial. Before moving to Colorado in 2007, she was a partner at a large Buffalo, New York, law firm. She has successfully tried cases in state and federal court throughout New York State and Colorado, defending ski areas, recreational facilities, rental car companies, doctors, hospitals, police officers, and municipalities. She has also advised ski resorts on operations and speaks on risk management issues for groups like the National Ski Areas Association and Colorado River Outfitters Association. Maryjo works with Trialrun as an educator and trainer, teaching deposition techniques to counsel for the United States Navy and evidence programs for the Securities and Exchange Commission. She is married to Steven M. Zweig and they have six children between them, splitting their time between Colorado and Buffalo offices.

Kylie Whitaker

Kylie repeatedly gets results for her clients by passionately fighting for clients charged with criminal offenses and clients going through a divorce or child custody battle. Kylie is a graduate of Creighton Law School and attended the University of Kansas and Wichita State University for undergraduate. Kylie spent seven years as a prosecutor prior to going into private practice giving her extensive trial experience.
