Mr. Robey was the Mid-Atlantic regional operations manager for Nationwide Insurances’ Trial Division, heading up Robey, Teumer, Drash, Kimbrell & Counts, where he litigated large loss cases and insurance coverage cases in state and federal courts, while contributing as an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the Nationwide Trial Division Advocacy Program. He has been a litigator in Virginia and the District of Columbia since 1976. Mr. Robey is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Robey retired as a lieutenant colonel with the United States Army Reserve following 22 years of commissioned service. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the War on Terrorism Campaign Medal, among others, during his military career.
