Erika Klie Kolenich
Attorney Kolenich was admitted to practice law in 2004 and is licensed in state and federal court in West Virginia and Ohio. She is a 2001 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and a 2004 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. Attorney Kolenich has litigated hundreds of civil cases, including personal injury, discrimination and wrongful death cases. Attorney Kolenich has a proven track record as a skilled trial attorney as well as extensive appellate experience. Ms. Kolenich is also a trained mediator and has completed basic and advanced mediation education and training. She resides in Buckhannon, West Virginia, with her husband and daughter. An active member of the community, Ms. Kolenich donates several hours of her time to local organizations including the Head Start program and Community Theatre.

Sarah Smith
Attorney Sarah Smith received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida, and her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. Richard Haseltine
Attorney Richard Haseltine has years of experience in business litigation and multistate consumer/ business collections in a high-volume practice. Richard now protects employees and the injured. Richard was also a prosecutor for Cuyahoga County, in Cleveland. He has lived all throughout Ohio, but currently resides near Canton. Karl Kolenich
Attorney Karl Kolenich is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Law. Kolenich earned a Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, where he studied economics. He is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and was raised in Medina County, Ohio where he attended Cloverleaf High School. Mr. Kolenich is a strong advocate and dedicated to obtaining justice for those who have been wrongfully injured. He is a member of the West Virginia Association for Justice. Kolenich has been with Klie Law Offices since it was founded and has been a practicing attorney here since his admission to the West Virginia Bar. Mr. Kolenich is also licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio. In his spare time, he enjoys auto events and cars.

Brooke Ann Gruver
Brooke graduated from WVU College of Law in May 2022. During law school, she served as President for the West Virginia Association for Justice Student Chapter for one year, served as Chief Justice of WVU College of Law’s Moot Court Board for one year, competed in state and national Moot Court Competitions, litigated immigration law cases in the WVU Immigration Law Clinic, served as a Magistrate Court Mediator with WVU College of Law’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Society for two years, and was welcomed into the Order of Barristers. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from WVU which she previously used while working as a Short-Term Residential Substance Abuse Intensive Services Case Manager at Prestera Center for Mental Health Service, Inc. You may see Brooke facilitating focus groups or representing clients in our Kentucky based cases. Brooke is based out of our Buckhannon branch and loves her small town. In her free time, Brooke likes to hike, garden, and spend time with her beloved dog and husband.

Gabrielle R. Flanagan
Attorney Gabrielle R. Flanagan is a native of St. Marys, West Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Law and Legal Studies and Sociology from West Virginia University. She received her Juris Doctor from WVU College of Law. After attending WVU Law, she was admitted to practice in West Virginia. Attorney Gabrielle R. Flanagan is currently barred in West Virginia and the District of Columbia. Miss Flanagan discovered her passion for Family Law through an internship and cultivated that passion while working in the Family and Child Advocacy Clinic at WVU Law. She believes in fiercely advocating for families and children who may not otherwise feel that they have a voice. Miss Flanagan previously practiced in Fairmont, West Virginia and comes to Klie Law Offices with experience and a desire to bring that same fierce legal advocacy to clients throughout West Virginia. Miss Flanagan is a lifelong resident of West Virginia and is excited to return to the Mid-Ohio Valley area. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew. She likes reading, traveling, playing with her dog Mila, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Brandon Kroll
Attorney Brandon J. Kroll was born and raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he studied philosophy, prior to receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. While at Wake Forest University, Brandon served as a member of the school’s Innocence and Justice Clinic for three semesters. Brandon graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law and was subsequently admitted to the West Virginia State Bar. Upon his admission to the State Bar, Brandon served as a Term Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. Prior to coming to Klie Law Offices, Brandon worked as a civil litigator with a focus in insurance defense for more than three years. Brandon comes to Klie Law Offices with a desire to help West Virginians put their lives back together after suffering a serious injury or workplace injustice. Brandon currently resides in Clarksburg, practicing out of the Clarksburg branch of Klie Law Offices. In his personal time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kailee, and their three cats. Brandon is currently a high school soccer and girls’ basketball coach. Whenever he is not spending time with family or coaching, Brandon enjoys biking, golfing, and cooking.
