Erik A. Bergmanis

Erik A. Bergmanis is the managing member of Bergmanis Law Firm, L.L.C. He has been representing people at the Lake of the Ozarks for 40 years in both state and federal court in Missouri, and in other states in a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, criminal defense, social security disability, workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, and various other areas of civil litigation. He graduated with honors from Drury College in 1982 and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 1985. He has served on the Missouri Bar Board of Governors since 1999, including time as president, and has held various other leadership roles within the Missouri Bar. He also served as Municipal Judge for the City of Linn Creek for 22 years.

Daniel C. Mizell

Daniel C. Mizell is a lifelong resident of Missouri, graduating from Vianney High School in 1989 and the University of Missouri in 1994 with a B.S. in Finance. He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1997, where he received the Order of Barristers, R. David Ray Award for Trial Advocacy, and Roscoe Anderson award for Excellence in Moot Court. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1998 and the U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri in 1998. He co-founded Bridges, Cisar and Mizell, LLC in 2001 and later purchased Darrell Deputy’s law office in Lebanon, Missouri in 2007, forming Deputy & Mizell, LLC. His practice areas include automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, boat accidents, slip and fall claims, wrongful death claims, and other tort claims. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Missouri Bar Association, Laclede County Bar Association, and a fellow of the Missouri Bar Foundation. He was honored by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers in 2023.

Cody D. Edwards

Cody D. Edwards is a hometown attorney from Ulman, Missouri, primarily working out of the Camdenton Branch. He graduated from Iberia High School, received a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology from the University of Central Missouri in 2005, and earned his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2010. Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2011 and the U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri in 2011, Cody focuses on DWI/BWI Defense, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Personal Injury. Derek Scott Brown

Derek Scott Brown was born and raised in the Lake of the Ozarks area, graduating from Camdenton High School and Drury University in 2009 with a B.B.A. in Business Management. He attended the University of Tulsa College of Law and the University of Missouri School of Law, graduating in 2013. Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2013 and the U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri in 2013, Derek joined Deputy & Mizell, L.L.C. as an associate attorney and began specializing in social security disability law in 2014. His practice areas also include Criminal, Personal Injury, Family, and Civil law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Sigma Pi fraternity, and serves as a Board Member for Lake Area Industries and Defense Counsel for the 26th Drug and DWI Treatment Court. He received the 2018 Lake Sun Reader’s Choice Awards Best Attorney.

Timothy Riley Morgan

Timothy Riley Morgan has been recognized for obtaining exceptional results for his clients for over a decade. Andrew S. Lyskowski

Andrew Lyskowski is a native of mid-Missouri, raised in Jefferson City. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Truman State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2004. During law school, he was President of the Student Chapter of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and represented the University of Missouri School of Law in the American Bar Association's regional negotiation competition. After graduating, he worked for Senate Research and then as an Assistant Attorney General focusing on workers' compensation. He has been an attorney at Bergmanis Law Firm, L.L.C., since 2007, focusing his practice on workers' compensation and personal injury.
