Andre F. Hewitt

Andre F. Andrew M. Wolfenson

Attorney Wolfenson, the founder and senior partner of the firm, practices in courts throughout North and Central New Jersey. A member of the New Jersey Bar Association, he has lectured for the Graduate Realtor Institute of the New Jersey Association of Realtors, as well as for first-time homebuyers with the Housing Partnership Ownership Center in Dover, New Jersey. Mr. Wolfenson's zealous advocacy on his client's behalf, and his continuing concern for the rights of non-custodial parents, resulted in a New Jersey appeals court determining a new standard by which a custodial parent is entitled to move throughout the state in the case of A.J. v. R.J., 461 N.J. Super. 173 (App. Div. 2019). Due to his acumen in the varied fields of estates, real estate, and family law, he has been appointed by the Court to serve as the Administrator of numerous contested estates, as well as mediator or fiscal agent. Awarded the prestigious honor of being named to "Lawyers of Distinction," he has also been named as one of New Jersey's "Top Attorneys for Families" by New Jersey Family Monthly, a recognition earned through the votes of clients for five consecutive years. Andrew was selected as a Super Lawyer for 2025. In his spare time Attorney Wolfenson, an avid baseball fan, serves as Commissioner of a fantasy baseball league. Rebecca S. Ashkenazi

Ms. Ashkenazi is a Partner at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. Her current practice focuses on Real Estate matters, Wills, Trusts, and Estates (including Probate matters), as well as Guardianships. She has been appointed by the Court to serve as counsel for the alleged incapacitated in Guardianship matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ashkenazi served as general counsel to a commercial and industrial real estate company. She previously represented residential clients and sponsor sellers at Herrick, Feinstein LLP, and earned numerous pro bono awards, including the prestigious 2018 Milton Mollen Pro Bono Award. She started her career in Real Estate at a small firm. Prior to her work in Real Estate, her practice focused on representing abandoned, abused, and neglected children, as well as working with high net worth matrimonial actions. Ms. Ashkenazi was named one of New Jersey's "Best Lawyers for Families" by NJ Family Magazine for three consecutive years, an award earned through client nomination. She is currently assisting ProjectKIND as a legal advisor on a pro bono basis and has been working with Urban Dance League, Inc. since 2013 in both a legal capacity and a board member style role. At Franklin and Marshall College, Ms. Ashkenazi was a co-founder of S.I.S.T.E.R.S.

Kamila Marek

Ms. Marek is an Associate Attorney at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. She attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, she was enrolled in the Robert W. Entenmanns Veterans Legal Clinic and served as a staff editor on the Family Court Review. Her student note, titled "Majority Rules: Establishing Postmajority Support to Disabled Children in New York," was published in the journal's April 2022 edition. Her current practice focuses on Matrimonial and Family matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marek served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James J. Guida, J.S.C., in Bergen County, for the 2021-2022 judicial term. Ms. Marek is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, NJSBA Family Section, and the Essex County Bar Association.

Francesca Simone

Ms. Simone is an associate attorney at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. Her current practice focuses on general litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Simone was an associate attorney at Spiro Harrison & Nelson, where she represented clients in a variety of civil and criminal cases. Ms. Simone has experience in both federal and state courts. Ms. Simone earned her BA in history and minor in Italian from Ramapo College with magna cum laude. She received her paralegal certificate from Montclair State University and her MSJ degree in Financial Service Compliance from Seton Hall Law. Ms. Simone worked as a paralegal while attending law school part time. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Paul B. Matey, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Honorable Thomas K. Isenhour, of the Superior Court of New Jersey-Union Vicinage. Ms. Simone was awarded best brief in her Appellate Advocacy class and in the Gressman Moot Court competition. She also was the recipient of the National Italian American Bar Association’s Justice Alito Scholarship.

Oyinkansola R. Lapite

Ms. Lapite received her Doctorate in May 2020. She also attended the University at Buffalo, class of 2017, receiving her Bachelors of Art in Legal Studies and Counseling. While at Seton Hall School of Law, her main focus was providing legal advice to individuals who lacked the education and finances to receive adequate legal representation, which is why she enrolled in the Seton Hall Family Law Clinic. She was also a legal scholar for two years under the Public Interest Fellowship at Seton Hall Law School. While attending Law School, she was a mentor for the "For Girls Only Organization". Her current practice focuses on Litigation and Criminal matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lapite was an Assistant Prosecutor at the Passaic County Prosecutor's office. She previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Bartels, J.S.C., in Mercer County for the 2020-2021 judicial term. Ms. Lapite is a member of the Garden State Bar Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and engaging in sports such as swimming and track.
