Jeff B. Badders

Jeff B. Badders, a Nacogdoches native, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1978 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University Law School in 1981. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982, he has since dedicated his practice to personal injury law, assisting thousands of clients in East Texas. He is a member of several professional associations and has received multiple 'Best Attorney' recognitions.

C. Victor Haley

Since joining Fairchild, Price, Haley & Smith, L.L.P. in 1983, Victor Haley has been actively engaged in the trial of all types of insurance cases, including personal injuries, automobile accidents, multi-party catastrophic injury and damage cases, products liability, premises liability, medical and legal malpractice, toxic tort litigation, and defense of cities and counties under the Texas Tort Claims Act in both the State and Federal courts. In recent years, Mr. Haley has become more actively involved in the medical and legal malpractice, toxic tort/environmental law, mass tort litigation with fen-phen, silica, rubber, etc., (including benzene, asbestos, silicosis, chemicals and rubber compounds), premises liability, civil rights, commercial litigation and products liability cases throughout East and South Texas.

Clayton H. Haley

Clayton Haley has been actively engaged in insurance defense litigation. His experience includes, but is not limited to, the trial of cases involving automobile accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, worker’s compensation, general insurance defense, contract claims, general personal injury defense, trials involving various condemnation matters, and Deceptive Trade Practices Act claims.

Russell R. Smith

Russell Smith has been actively engaged in the trial of all types of cases in both State and Federal Courts, including, but not limited to, general civil litigation, premises liability, medical and legal malpractice, tort and insurance litigation, products liability, environmental and toxic tort litigation, automobile and truck litigation, contract disputes, employment law and nursing home litigation.

Kelly B. Lea

Kelly B. Lea has been a trial lawyer since 1992. He has tried numerous cases to verdict successfully in East Texas. Mr. Lea practices in all state courts and federal courts in the Eastern District, Southern District and the Fifth Court of Appeals. His practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation with a specialty in defending insurance companies, their insureds, trucking companies, and their drivers. Additionally, he handles general civil litigation, including commercial litigation, premises liability and product liability. Mr. Lea has defended numerous insurance companies, trucking companies, business entities and individuals throughout East Texas. Mr. Lea is a certified mediator, having been trained at the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution. He has been a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker since 1982.

John L. Price

Since becoming associated with Fairchild, Price, Haley & Smith, L.L.P. in 1966, John Price has been actively involved in the trial of many cases involving insurance litigation of all types in both State and Federal Courts, including, but not limited to, the trial of products liability, premises liability, automobile accidents, medical and legal malpractice and general insurance cases. He is also very active in the firm’s real estate transaction and banking practice.

Heath Badders

Heath Badders, eldest son of Jeff Badders, earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2016 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas the same year. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University. Heath actively collaborates with his father, fighting for their clients in personal injury cases.
