Jason J. Fugate
Jason J. Fugate was born and raised in South Dakota, where he attended the University of South Dakota and received his B.S. in Psychology and Juris Doctorate. In 2004, Jason began practicing law in western Washington including Lewis, Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pacific, Cowlitz and Kitsap with a focus on family law, adoption, criminal defense, and general civil litigation matters. Additionally, he has also assisted qualified persons in restoring firearm rights, vacating convictions from adult records and sealing juvenile records. Jason has served as a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA), and is currently serving as a member of the Domestic Relations Attorneys of Washington (DRAW). In addition to his work as an attorney, Jason has also served as a pro tem judge for a number of municipalities in southwest Washington. Jason understands that clients coming through his door are often involved in very emotional and stressful situations, many being unaware of what to reasonably expect and are often overwhelmed by all they are faced with. Taking a pragmatic approach, Jason seeks to assist his clients through the emotions and stress of their circumstances so they can make reasonable and informed decisions throughout their cases. He seeks to resolve his clients’ cases on fair and reasonable grounds and is willing to take the case to trial to fight for the rights of his clients. Outside the office, Jason often spends his time watching, playing or attending high school, college and pro sporting events. He also enjoys watching programs and reading about anything related to undercover operations, the CIA, spy craft and the like.

Richard A. Paroutaud
Rich joined the firm in 1976 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law. His practice emphasized business planning, civil litigation, estate planning, probate, and real estate. He retired from the firm in December 2021. He served 32 years in the Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve.
