David Cifelli

David Cifelli was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1981. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1973 with majors in Biology and Psychology, received a Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University in 1977, and earned his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University in 1981. He is licensed by the Illinois Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Supreme Court. He concentrates in Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury, and handles various other practice areas. David is involved in several neighborhood charities and committees, including the Chicago Heights Lions Club, The Exceptional Children’s Charity, The Thomas Cellini Huntington Foundation, and the Marchegiana Society of Chicago Heights.

Edward Lichtenstein

Edward S. Lichtenstein is the managing partner of the Law Offices of Edward Lichtenstein, P.C., a firm he has been associated with for over thirty years. He began as an associate in 1977, became a partner in 1985, and managing partner in 1990. He concentrates his litigation practice in Personal Injury, Automobile Collisions, Workers’ Compensation and Medical Malpractice. He has litigated cases in all Courts in the Chicago area and surrounding counties, and has achieved substantial settlements and awards, including million-dollar plus settlements. Miles Dore

Miles Dore has over 25 years of experience in civil litigation and trial law. He graduated cum laude from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1988 and earned his undergraduate degree from DePaul University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Miles has substantial trial experience in Cook County and collar counties, and is experienced in arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. He is also a leader with Troop 1373, Boy Scouts of America, and coaches youth sports.

Joseph Scrementi

Joseph Scrementi received his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2011 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008. He joined Cifelli, Scrementi & Dore, LTD in 2020, focusing on civil litigation. Joseph is a seasoned trial attorney with over 50 jury trials and has argued in the First and Third District Appellate Courts. He has been named to Super Lawyer’s Illinois Rising Stars for 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Joel Daly

Joel T. Daly is Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Edward Lichtenstein, P.C. He is a well-known Media Commentator in Chicago, Information Officer of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and a Legal Analyst for WLS-TV. He graduated from Yale University (B.A. in 1956) and Chicago Kent College of Law (J.D. in 1988). He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Illinois (1988), Supreme Court of Wisconsin (1989), United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (1988), United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (2000), and the Supreme Court of the United States of America (2005). He is a certified Mediator and Arbitrator and has taught Trial Advocacy.

Burton Joseph

Burton Joseph was a Senior Partner who passed away in 2010. He practiced law in Chicago since receiving his law degree from DePaul University, College of Law in 1952. He was a giant in the legal community, writing and lecturing extensively in First Amendment law, and served as an adjunct Professor of Law at IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law for ten years. He was involved in numerous boards and organizations, including the Freedom to Read Foundation of the American Library Association, Lawyers for the Creative Arts, and the International Academy of Sex Research. He co-authored the Summary of the Law of Illinois and co-edited Law and Disorder.
