James F. Logan Jr

James F. (Jim) Logan, Jr. is the President of Logan-Thompson, P.C. He has been a practicing attorney in Cleveland, Tennessee since 1971. Logan is married to Cindy Logan. Mr. Logan and his wife are members of the North Cleveland Baptist Church of Cleveland. Mr. Logan is active in various state and national bar associations. He maintains active memberships in the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, America Association for Justice, Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates. He has served as a board member of TTLA and TACDL. He was a member of the board of directors for Federal Defender Services of East Tennessee for many years. Mr. Logan has served on various commissions including the first Tennessee Judicial Selection Commission on which he served a twelve-year term from 1994 until 2006. Logan also served as a member and reporter of the Tennessee Criminal Sentencing Reform Commission which authored the TN Sentencing Reform Act of 2005 correcting the Blakely defects in the TN Sentencing Law. Mr. Logan is the County Attorney for Polk County, Tennessee. He has served as Attorney for various counties. Also, he has represented individual and groups in matters against governmental entities. Logan has been honored by many Who’s Who organizations and has been selected as one of the “Best Lawyers in America,” “Best Lawyers in the U.S.” and a recommended lawyer by various recommendation services. In addition to these honors, Mr. Logan has been voted Best Attorney in Bradley County as have other members of the firm and the firm.

Robert G. Norred Jr.

Rob concentrates his practice principally in business and commercial litigation and multi-party tort prosecution and defense. He has practiced heavy defense of several telecommunications companies involving a wide range of matters from defense of multi-district 911 complaints to tort defense of multi-car accidents allegedly caused by the telecommunications facilities. Rob has tried approximately 100 civil jury cases in both Tennessee and North Georgia over the past thirty-five years which have been principally in the above-referenced fields and in the personal injury arena. Having worked for almost 20 years in a Chattanooga defense firm gives me a unique perspective of how the case is approached from both the plaintiff and the defendant’s viewpoint, which we believe helps close cases more efficiently. In addition to large litigation cases, Norred still tries property disputes, mechanic lien enforcement in commercial development, general contractor licensing matters and commercial transactions. From 2008 to the present my defense of two major telecommunications and cable companies has involved me in defense of large class-type actions compared to defending serious personal injury claims. These cases have resulted in prosecuting product liability claims for farmers and other consumers resulting in the largest jury verdict in Bradley County, Tennessee history in November of 2022 which vindicated the “farmer.” We have also prosecuted and defended multiple suits that went to verdicts in excess of $200,000.00. In the last three years, we have been able to settle a Georgia tractor-trailer accident for in excess of $3,000,000.00, a trip and fall arising from the defendant’s nuisance for $400,000.00, and a product liability suit in Savannah, Tennessee for $300,000.00. During the last 35 years, Rob has written several publications, including “Fair Debt Collection Demand Techniques, Problem Collections in Tennessee”; “Strategies to Consider in Collecting Judgments in Tennessee”; Ethics to Collections”; “Successful Judgment Collections in Tennessee”; and “Mechanic’s Lien Enforcement”. Norred has presented at meetings of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers, building supply associates and local bar associations as to the “psychology of a case and ‘how’ we are all collectors.”

John Mark Griffin obtained his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Mississippi in 1988, an MBA from Louisiana Tech University in 1986, and a bachelor of science in finance in 1982. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio. For more than 33 years, Mr. Griffin has represented individuals hurt by the negligence of others, focusing on automobile accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death claims, nursing home abuse, and dangerous premises cases. He is a partner at Warren & Griffin, P.C. and a member of several bar associations.

Joshua Harris Jenne

Josh Jenne was born and raised in Cleveland, Bradley County, Tennessee. After graduating from the McCallie School, Josh obtained his business undergraduate degree from SMU in Dallas, Texas and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama. After practicing for 2 years with a larger firm in Chattanooga, Josh returned to Cleveland to join his father and oldest brother at Jenne Law in 2006. Since that time, Josh has been successfully trying cases in a variety of areas, establishing his reputation as a prominent trial lawyer in the 10th Judicial District and across the State of Tennessee. When not devoted to his clients and his law practice, Josh's priority is his family. Josh explains, "My wife and my 3 boys are my pride and joy." When not in court or preparing for court, Josh is usually found somewhere in support of his athletic sons. Otherwise, Josh is most likely to be found in the woods fishing, hunting or riding motorcycles and ATVs with his family and their friends.

Matthew G. Coleman

Matthew Coleman is a shareholder at Logan-Thompson. He concentrates his practice on general civil litigation with an emphasis toward Social Security Disability, worker’s compensation, personal injury and insurance claims. He has obtained favorable jury verdicts involving complex and structural insurance claims against arson and policy defenses. He works closely with his law partners in a variety of practice areas and believes that diversity of mentorship and experience has been vital to his success in resolving challenging legal matters and recovering millions of dollars annually in compensation and benefits for his clients. Prior to joining the legal profession, he served 12 years as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army and is a decorated veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. In 2004, he graduated magna cum laude from Lee University with a degree in biology and went on to receive his doctorate of jurisprudence from Appalachian School of Law. Matthew is married to Sarah Coleman, a North Carolina native who moved to Cleveland after meeting during law school, they have two sons, Anthony Ronald and Samuel Christian. Matthew and Sarah attend Westwood Baptist Church where he and his family have been members since the early 1980’s. Matthew currently serves as a deacon. He is the son of Dr. Ronald and Shelly Coleman whose spiritual leadership and international mission work have offered him a unique insight into the needs of others. Matthew has four siblings: Joshua, Danny, Eva and Karen. Matthew’s diverse and honorable life experiences have afforded him a special desire and unique insight to provide personal service to our community, its citizens and his neighbors. Matthew serves on various governmental and non-profit boards and was elected in 2022 to serve on the school board for Cleveland City Schools.

Robert S. Thompson

Robert is a founding member of the law firm of Logan-Thompson P.C. and has had a diverse litigation practice since 1987. Robert represents both business clients and individuals. His primary focus is general civil litigation. Throughout his career, Robert has served as lead trial counsel on numerous serious injury cases and obtained millions of dollars for his clients. In 2024, Mr. Thompson received the honor of being voted best attorney in Bradley County in the “Best of Bradley County Reader’s Choice Awards.”
