Pam Kohlmeier, MD, JD, FACEP
Dr. Pam is dually licensed as a physician and attorney in the state of Washington and brings unique expertise to our Health Care practice team. She served as a Staff Attorney for the Washington Medical Commission (the agency that licenses and disciplines doctors and physician assistants) and also practiced as a board certified emergency physician. Early in Dr. Pam’s career, she was a named defendant in a medical malpractice lawsuit (a case she ultimately won but found to be emotionally draining, thus sparking her empathy for other providers involved in medical-legal issues). Dr. Pam enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Stephen Thew, and their adult children and also has a passion for public service and teaching.

Ryan M. Beaudoin
Ryan M. Beaudoin is a health care attorney practicing in Washington and Idaho. He represents health care systems and individual providers in the Pacific Northwest. He is rated AV Preeminent by his peers for the highest level of professional excellence, and he has been recognized as one of the “Best Lawyers in America”. Leander James is a founding shareholder and firm manager, focusing on civil litigation, sexual abuse survivor cases, and catastrophic injury. He was a principal architect of the $166 million Northwest Jesuit sexual abuse settlement. He is a past president of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and an appointed Chair on the Idaho State Bar Professional Conduct Board.

Jeffrey R. Galloway
Jeff brings over ten years of experience to our firm. Jeff is licensed in both Washington and Idaho and his practice is focused on litigation, including medical malpractice defense, professional disciplinary proceedings, general civil litigation, labor and employment, and contract disputes. He helps his clients navigate the maze of litigation from initial claim to final appeal. He has tried bench and jury trials in state and federal courts as well as argued before the Washington State Supreme Court, Washington State Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Stephen J. Nemec
Stephen J. Nemec is a Senior Partner whose practice focuses on personal injury. He is a registered patent attorney and certified by the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association as a workers’ compensation specialist. He was selected to the 2015 Mountain States Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers Magazines.

Steven J. Dixson
Steven Dixson's practice is primarily focused on defense of healthcare professionals and institutions in civil lawsuits, including claims for wrongful death and other allegations of medical malpractice. Steven also has significant experience in representing healthcare providers in administrative actions with the Washington Medical Commission, Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery and Washington Nursing Quality Assurance Commission. His practice also includes work with medical staff offices in issues of privileging and credentialing, and other regulatory matters. In addition to his healthcare practice, Steven has experience in commercial and business litigation (including contract and tort claims), media law (including access to public records) and employment law (wrongful discharge and employee wage claims).
