Mike Rafi
Mike Rafi is a personal injury lawyer and the founder of Rafi Law Firm, based in Atlanta, Georgia. He represents individuals and families in serious injury and wrongful death cases across the country - including those involving car and truck accidents, dangerous properties, and unsafe products. Since founding the firm, Mike and his team have recovered more than $150 million for their clients. Mike started Rafi Law Firm because he believed too many personal injury lawyers were getting it wrong - they weren’t skilled enough, they weren’t giving clients honest advice, and they weren’t putting in the work to get the best results. He wanted to change that, and has. He built the firm around high standards, clear communication, and a commitment to treating people the way they should be treated when everything is on the line. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Mike has become one of the most widely followed lawyers on social media. His daily videos on legal strategy, case insights, and running a law firm have been viewed more than 800 million times across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. He uses these platforms to educate, support, and connect with people who are navigating the legal system - or simply trying to better understand how the laws and our systems work. Mike went to Furman University and then the University of Georgia School of Law. He serves on the Alumni Council at the UGA Law, mentors law students, and supports the advocacy program-a full-circle role, given that he graduated as the school’s most decorated mock trial and moot court competitors. Mike is also a frequent speaker at legal conferences and contributor to professional publications. He’s given presentations on trial advocacy, running a law firm, and social media at national events, with his next presentation being at the 2025 Lex Summit. He recently testified before the Georgia State House on tort reform. His writing on topics like opening statements and hearsay evidence is widely read and reflects his commitment to helping other lawyers improve their craft. Mike has been President of the DeKalb County Bar Association and on the board for the Atlanta Bar Association’s Small Firm Section. He’s also involved in public safety efforts in his community and nationwide. His work has earned recognition throughout the legal community. Mike has received the Distinguished Leader Award from Law.com and has been awarded by Super Lawyers, Atlanta Magazine, and Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite.

Chris Stokes
Before joining Rafi Law Firm - Injury Lawyers, Chris Stokes worked for a well-respected insurance defense firm in the Metro Atlanta Area. He defended businesses and insurance companies in a wide array of personal injury cases, including automobile crashes, cases involving dangerous and unsafe property, and insurance coverage cases. But after witnessing how insurance companies treated injured people, Chris rededicated his career to instead help the injured. He specializes in wrongful death cases and catastrophic injury cases caused by a tractor-trailer and automobile crashes. Chris also represents crime victims in negligent security cases, where property owners and managers failed to keep residents and guests safe. He uses what he learned about how insurance companies evaluate claims to help injury victims and their families get the compensation they deserve. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Auburn University and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he represented Plaintiffs in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and people seeking asylum in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals as part of UGA Law’s nationally-recognized Appellate Advocacy Clinic. Chris was also an active member of the mock trial and moot court teams. Because of that work, he was awarded membership into the National Order of Barristers-an honor reserved for the top ten trial advocacy students at the University of Georgia. Since graduating from law school, Chris has continued his involvement with the mock trial program by serving as a guest judge and coach.

Alex Brown
Prior to joining Rafi Law Firm - Injury Lawyers, Alex worked for one of the largest personal injury firms in America, where he was responsible for tens of millions of dollars’ worth of verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. During this time, he tried numerous cases to verdict across Florida, from Palm Beach to the panhandle, obtaining successful results in trials involving automobile accidents, slip and falls, sexual assaults, waterslide accidents, and other premises liability cases. Even as a young lawyer, Alex was frequently asked to step in to assist other members of the firm with their cases at trial as well, typically to handle complex portions of the trial such as voir dire and cross-examination of the defendant’s hired expert witnesses. This skill level ultimately led to Alex being asked to serve as managing partner of the firm’s expansion into Alabama, overseeing the opening of three offices throughout the state before eventually returning to his home state of Georgia. Alex has represented clients in courtrooms across the southeast and has always prided himself on taking the difficult, complex cases that other attorneys may shy away from, with a particular focus on negligent security and commercial motor vehicle cases. Alex is proud to have joined Rafi Law Firm and uses his skills gained throughout his career to fight for the firm’s clients and ensure that they obtain the full justice they deserve. Alex earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While a student at the University of Alabama School of Law, Alex was a member of multiple national trial advocacy teams and was the recipient of the George Peach Taylor Award for Trial Advocacy.
