Ryan J. Stover graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and then his received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in May 2010. Ryan began practicing law at Carney Law in Norfolk before coming to Stratton, DeLay, Doele, Carlson and Buettner in June 2014. He has experience working for the Nebraska Workers Compensation court and volunteers as a coach for the Nebraska State Bar Foundation Mock Trial competition at Norfolk Catholic. Ryan’s practice consists of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, estate planning and civil litigation.

Joel E. Carlson

Joel E. Carlson graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1988. Joel began his legal practice with Mueting and Stoffer law firm in Norfolk in 1990. Joel then worked as a legislative assistant in the Nebraska Legislature from 1994 to 1996 before returning to Norfolk. From 1996 to 2008, Joel served as a Deputy Madison County attorney. Joel currently serves on the Commission on Industrial Relations. With a wealth of experience helping families through family law and juvenile law, Joel knows the importance of mixing knowledge and compassion. He takes pride in fighting for worker’s compensation rights. He also makes sure that anyone facing criminal charges is given the best possible defense. Nathan J. Stratton

Nathan J. Stratton realized his passion for defending personal liberty after serving as a captain in the United States Army in Iraq. Nate earned a Bronze Star as well as numerous other awards because of his dedication to the country he loves. Nate earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude in history from Creighton University in 2009 and then joined the Army. He returned back to the United States and received his Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2016. Nate credits his father, Doug Stratton, as a strong influence on his life and career choice. He has modeled his father’s career working with him on the Beatrice Six case and using him as an inspiration for all he does. Nate’s field of concentration in law school focused on litigation, both civil plaintiff’s work and criminal defense work. It’s important to him that everyone has due process and that no one is taken advantage of by the justice system.
