Martha Farmer Copeland

Shane A. Romines

Attorney Romines is a native of Corbin, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Corbin High School. Following high school, he attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington and studied Political Science. With a zest for politics, Attorney Romines excelled as an undergraduate student and then turned his sights toward law school. Attorney Romines attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor. During his three years of law school, he clerked with the firm of Clark, Ward & Cave (now Clark & Ward), where he quickly learned the trade of insurance defense. Upon passage of the Kentucky Bar Exam, Mr. Romines continued with Clark & Ward until May of 2003, working on such cases as sexual harassment defense, products liability defense, personal injury defense, and employment law defense. B.J. Foley

B.J. Foley grew up in Corbin, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, obtaining his degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, he obtained a Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids. He has been admitted to the Kentucky Bar since 2009. Amanda Hill

Ben L. Childers

Ben Childers was born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky. Ben graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Political Science in 2020, then the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law with a JD in 2022. While at UK and UK Law, Ben was the first student to complete the UK BLUE program, an honors pathway designed to give select individuals an accelerated path to law school. Ben specializes in personal injury law, handling a broad array of injury cases, including car wrecks, slip and falls, premises liability, medical malpractice, and more. Ben also works with corporate clients in banking litigation matters, as well as in business formation, organization, and support. Stemming from extensive experience in reviewing and enforcing copyright law, Ben also assists clients in guidance regarding copyright matters and represents them in enforcement and disputes when warranted.
