He earned both a Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona, where he was Senior Managing Editor of the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. He has successfully advocated for clients in labor law and is passionate about environmental issues in the Verde Valley.

Jared R. Owens previously practiced at Hutchison & Steffen in Las Vegas, Nevada, focusing on business law, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. He has experience representing businesses, insurers, and individuals, and has worked for state and federal court judges. He was selected as a Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Star. He graduated from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2009.
