Louise N. Smith

William J. Smith

Attorney Bill Smith represents clients in matters involving contract negotiations and disputes, unpaid commissions, business torts, and select employment law cases. Bill also represents clients in a wide range of personal injury cases and civil rights abuses involving serious bodily injury or death. Bill has successfully litigated and tried cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the state of Georgia. Bill has obtained numerous settlements and judgments for his clients, including several millions of dollars in a wrongful death action that at least a dozen law firms had turned down. Candace M. Malone, Esq. is a dually licensed attorney, licensed in both Georgia and New York. She earned an undergraduate degree in Telecommunication/Media Studies with an English minor from Texas A&M University and graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. During law school, Ms. Malone was selected as a member of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School’s Moot Court Board and as a Dean’s Fellow for her achievements in Legal Research and Writing as well as Oral Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Malone interned at Greathouse Trial Law, LLC as a law clerk. Ms. Malone began her career working for the City of Atlanta as a Conflict Attorney, before the Honorable Judge Christopher Ward and the Honorable Judge Crystal Gaines, defending Georgians charged with both major and minor D.U.I., drug and traffic offenses. While working for the City of Atlanta, Ms. Malone attained multiple case dismissals for DUI, drug, and traffic court clients. Ms. Malone later joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office went on to become a Supervising Assistant District Attorney, where she presented over 2,000 cases before Grand Juries for indictment on behalf of the State of Georgia. She also provided legal support to various law enforcement agencies throughout Greater Atlanta to ensure justice was served in her community. Following her stint at the District Attorney’s office, Ms. Malone joined one of New York City’s premier law firms, where she represented various insurance companies from personal injury actions, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction accidents, medical malpractice actions, and wrongful death actions. Carla L. Hines is a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University, Carla worked for many years in exports, logistics, and customs for a global ocean freight company handling such VIP accounts as Nike, Gap, HP, and Toys r’ Us. It was her work in the shipping industry that birthed the idea of pursuing a legal career in admiralty law. After graduating with her Juris Masters from Emory University School of Law, Carla went on to pursue and earn her Juris Doctorate from Savannah Law School, a branch of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, competing at the University of Georgia Moot Court Competition in Spring 2016. She also served on the executive board of several school organizations including the Environmental Law Society working closely with the Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, Street Law, which travelled to various inner city high schools and undergrad institutions encouraging students to pursue a career in law, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. Carla’s most fond accomplishment as a law student was being accepted into the London Summer Study Abroad program hosted by the Southern University Law Center where she studied International Criminal Law and Constitutional Law, focusing on the intersections of British law and the U.S. Constitution. Her knowledge and appreciation of global law expanded during her 6-week studies in Europe, which included visits to Lloyd’s of London, the Royal Courts of Justice, and The International Court of Justice in the Hague, Netherlands. As a practicing attorney, Carla has assisted clients in criminal, domestic, juvenile, and entertainment matters. However, it was the memory of being injured in a car accident that could have cost her life that motivated her to assist others injured due to drivers’ negligence. When she’s not engrossed in the law, Carla attends church, loves travelling, personal fitness/training, spending time with family and friends, composing music, and binge-watching TV favorites like Law & Order and Game of Thrones.

Kate Franke concentrates on helping people get the compensation they deserve. She helps victims who are injured by unsafe conditions or auto accidents to get money for medical bills or lost work time. She seeks fair compensation for pain, suffering, and anxiety created by accidents. She will also hold insurance companies accountable when they try to avoid making the fair payments they owe for damaged property or personal harm. A native of Atlanta, Kate earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She also attended Villanova University School of Law where she earned her J.D.
