Jesse C. Jones

Jesse Jones has forty-five years (and counting) of experience providing legal services to businesses and business people. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, grew up in East Tennessee, did his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee, and went to law school at the University of Michigan. Jesse began his law career in 1977, doing complex commercial litigation in Miami, Florida. He transitioned from a trial lawyer to a business lawyer, and moved to the Lake Norman region in 2006. He is now the senior business lawyer at The McIntosh Law Firm. Jesse likes to help people and to solve problems. In structuring transactions and relationships, crafting legal documents, and giving counsel and advice, Jesse applies skills honed by his extensive experience and by his commitment to his profession. Throughout his career Jesse has valued community service. In Miami and in Lake Norman he has served in numerous leadership roles in his churches and in local nonprofit organizations. Jesse’s wife of forty-five years now works as his legal assistant. They have two adult daughters, who live in New York City and in Boston. They enjoy the performing arts and visiting their daughters. Jesse loves his work and has no plans to retire.

Robert G. McIntosh

Bob McIntosh established The McIntosh Law Firm in 1997 to make a positive difference in the greater Lake Norman community by providing local, accessible legal services. His family heritage in the Lake Norman area dates back to the mid-1700s. With deep ties to this region, he feels strong stewardship for local families and businesses. Currently, Bob resides in Cornelius, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and one grandchild. His hobbies include woodworking, learning about history and local culture, outdoor activities, and volunteering.

Tharesa C. Gelwicks

Terri has been an attorney for over 20 years. While practicing in Maryland, she focused on Domestic/Family Law matters, including complex divorce, custody and pension/QDRO divisions. She served as guardian ad litem on numerous cases and was also the director of an international adoption agency, facilitating Russian adoptions. Upon moving to North Carolina, she became a certified mediator and was a local counsel for an out of state insurance company dealing with personal injury claims and cases.

Lawrence J. Shaheen Jr.

Commercial real estate transaction lawyer Larry Shaheen, Jr. joined The McIntosh Law Firm after serving as General Counsel for a commercial real estate development and management firm. His experience allows him to be a resource and advocate for commercial real estate clients. Larry resides in Charlotte, enjoys golfing, reading, cheering on the Tar Heels and Gamecocks and judging debate tournaments.

Jennifer Ahlers Cone

Attorney Jennifer Cone delivers the resolve and experience to help businesses and organizations recover money owed to them. Jennifer joined The McIntosh Law Firm in 2001 and has extensive experience providing guidance and advocacy in subrogation, commercial litigation, and commercial collections in Davidson. She is currently serving at the Firm in an Of Counsel role.

Louise M. Paglen

Before joining The McIntosh Law Firm, Lake Norman attorney Louise Paglen was the owner and founder of Paglen Law Office, a family-centered law practice providing estate planning, asset protection planning, and special needs planning for senior citizens, veterans, people with disabilities, and their families. Louise understands that providing legal services to families often involves planning and advocating for her clients’ most precious assets: parents, children, spouses, siblings, relatives, friends, and pets. She dedicates her practice to families and small businesses and is passionate about helping her clients keep family assets and financial matters private, and their loved ones cared for. Louise is married and has two adult sons and two playful dogs. She enjoys spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains, hiking, reading, cooking, playing with her dogs, and spending time with friends, family, and nature.

Amy Shue Isaacs

Amy Shue Isaacs offers years of experience and calm, compassionate representation for clients wrestling with trust, estate planning, and administration concerns. A Charlotte native, Amy has lived in this area her entire life, currently residing in Mooresville, NC. Amy's practice goal is to help clients prepare for the future through wills, trusts, and related documents. She provides guidance on probate and estate administration following the death of a loved one and is proud to be able to offer legal insight for clients during these difficult places in their lives. Amy is married with one child, enjoys spending time outside with her son, and loves running.
