Hillary Clark
Hillary is an experienced civil litigator and trial attorney, representing clients throughout courts in both Texas and Oklahoma. Hillary’s practice is devoted primarily to civil litigation, including contract and business disputes, construction, and deceptive trade practices. She handles all stages of litigation through pre-litigation negotiations, discovery, pleading practice, depositions, and trials. Hillary is licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma and the Eastern District of Texas and is also a trained mediator. Hillary graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law with dual J.D. and Master of Public Administration degrees in 2012. She began her career as a law clerk and municipal prosecutor for the City of Lubbock. She is a former law intern for the Honorable Amos Mazzant, U.S. District Judge, Eastern District of Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Austin College after graduating from Sherman High School. Prior to joining the firm, Hillary was a Junior Partner with a North Texas boutique insurance defense litigation firm, where she learned the behind-the-scenes workings of the insurance companies. In addition to her firm commitment to her clients, Hillary is deeply devoted to volunteering in her community. She served two terms as trustee of Sherman Independent School District, Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center Trustee, North Texas Young Professionals Advisory Board, and United Way of Grayson County Board. Hillary has been recognized for her community service as the 2016 Athena Young Professional Leadership Award recipient and 2008 Legal Aid of Northwest Texas Grayson County Super Clinic Volunteer of the Year. She and her husband, Edwin, have two sons and live in Sherman. Hillary’s devotion to her community drives her to be a meticulous and bold advocate for our clients.
