Michael Schwartzberg is a person with many varied interests and who was a professional musician, earning music degrees from LSU and Boston University prior to attending law school at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU. Mr. Schwartzberg gained extensive experience from inside the court system clerking for the Louisiana Court of Appeal, Third Circuit for two years, and then one year for the Honorable James T. Trimble, Magistrate-Judge and now District Court Judge, United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Mr. Schwartzberg is licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana and the State of Texas, before the federal courts in the three federal judicial districts in Louisiana and the Eastern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Schwartzberg is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. Raised in a military family, Kenneth “Jay” DeLouche has called Southwest Louisiana his home for the past 35 years. Jay graduated in 1991 from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Chemistry. After having worked in the local petrochemical/refining industries as an Environmental Scientist, Jay returned to law school in 2000 and obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 2003. Since law school, Jay has practiced for the past 21 years in a wide array of areas including, but not limited to, personal injury law, family law, business law, estate law and planning, property law, insurance law, and hurricane disputes. Jay also has a niche’ practice in environmental, pollution, and toxic tort law. Brooke was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, and followed in her father and grandfather’s footsteps to become the third generation to practice law at the Roach Law Firm. Before becoming an attorney, Brooke received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from Louisiana State University in 2016, then went on to Southern University Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2019. While at Southern University Law Center, Brooke served as an editor of the Law Review and graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors. After law school, Brooke served as law clerk to Chief Justice Ulysses G. Thibodeaux, at the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeals, where she learned invaluable lessons that still aide in her practice of law today.
