But over time, he realized that simply observing wasn’t enough-he wanted to be the person who helped. That calling led him to law school, where he graduated in the top one percent of his class. Practicing law gave Sean the chance to keep telling stories-but this time, he could actually help shape the ending. Today, when he’s not in court or advocating for his clients, Sean lives in the Colorado foothills with his wife, their two incredible kids, and a small pack of beloved four-legged companions. He spends his downtime fly fishing, mountain biking, and helping his children discover their own paths. Through it all, Sean remains deeply committed to one goal: Protecting the West, one case at a time.

Matthew Broderick

Matt is a trial lawyer at Olson Personal Injury Lawyers. After years of representing corporate defendants and insurance companies, Matt left his position as a partner at one of the country’s largest defense firms to join Olson Personal Injury Lawyers to represent people injured by others’ wrongdoing. Matt chose Olson Personal Injury Lawyers because it is one of the few personal injury law firms in the Rocky Mountain region devoted to unwavering client experiences, outstanding results, and the pursuit of justice. Matt has significant experience handling medical malpractice and nursing home litigation. Matt has handled cases involving surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, general practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, paramedics, nurses, and certified nursing assistants. Matt has also managed litigation concerning hospitals, acute care facilities, urgent care facilities, nursing homes, long term care facilities, assisting living facilities, and independent living facilities. Matt is a Long Term Care Power Lawyer - a program designed to train attorneys in the intricacies of long term care trial practice, and he has been recognized as a medical malpractice Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers every year since 2021. Three kids later, Matt and his wife live in the Denver-Metro area and frequently visit northern Colorado to spend holidays with family, camp in Red Feather, sightsee in Estes Park, and hike in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. Matt and his wife also enjoy catching the occasional Broncos or Rockies game, and they love cheering on their kids in their many activities. In addition to practicing law, Matt enjoys coaching mock trial law students and judging mock trial competitions. He also mentors students in Judge Arguello’s Law School “Yes We Can” program, which aims to assist students of disadvantaged backgrounds get into and graduate from law school. Matt is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association, and has severed in several leadership roles, including Chair of the Denver Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and as a voting member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Board of Governors.

Allison Pritchard

Allison Pritchard is one of Olson Personal Injury Lawyers’ premier personal injury attorneys. Allison is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Wyoming. She is an active member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers’ Association (CTLA), the Colorado Women’s Trial Lawyer Network, Trial by Woman, and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers’ Association (WTLA). Allison also holds a contract with the Colorado Office of Respondent Parent Counsel representing parents who are involved with the Department of Human Services in Dependency and Neglect matters. Allison firmly believes access to justice exists for all, and that is a critical cornerstone of her practice and her approach to being an attorney. Being heard and understood are two things that will never be overlooked with Allison and at Olson Personal Injury Lawyers. Knowing someone is on your side and will fight for you while also being open and honest about your case and its complexities is critical to success. Allison Pritchard joined Olson Personal Injury Lawyers in October 2022 after successfully running her own firm for four years. Brian Reynolds

Brian is a trial lawyer. For over twenty-five years, he has advocated for individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic loss due to another person’s negligence or misconduct. Skilled at telling his clients’ stories, Brian has served as lead trial counsel in dozens of high-stakes lawsuits, and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and judgments for his clients. After studying psychology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Brian moved west to Colorado. He studied law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he was an editor on the Denver University Law Review, and the moot court champion of the 1997 Daniel S. Hoffman Trial Advocacy Competition. Consistently working to build his skills as a trial lawyer, Brian is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and other trial advocacy programs, and he has taught continuing legal education on the subjects of legal ethics and lawyer professional liability. Away from the practice of law, Brian trains working protection dogs for service and sport. He and his dogs have competed at the highest levels in the sport of mondioring, including several national championship appearances.

Phillip J. Meinkoth

Phillip J. Meinkoth is Olson Personal Injury Lawyers’s newest attorney. Originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Phillip graduated cum laude from the University of Tulsa before attending law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Phillip quickly realized he had a passion for trial advocacy. He competed and prevailed in many trial competitions, including placing in the top 8 in the TYLA National Trial Competition, and received the Director’s Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Phillip is driven to use his legal skills to help his clients receive the best possible results for their claims during the most stressful and trying times. Phillip knew he wanted to be an attorney from a young age. He volunteered as an intern at his hometown’s Legal Aid Services. Phillip saw how many injured people are often in desperate need of help and saw how lawyers could have a positive impact on the community. “I remember interning for Legal Aid Services and realizing how many everyday people are hurt or left ignored by the bureaucracy of the law,” he says. “I initially believed my best way to give back as an attorney would be working as a copyright attorney for small artists, but after participating in my school’s trial advocacy program, I found my calling - trial work. I hope to bring all of my skills to bear for helping those who have been injured or disenfranchised and to be an advocate for those who need one.” Phillip excitedly joined Olson Personal Injury Lawyers in 2021 and lives by the firm’s slogan each workday - Serious lawyers for serious cases. “I work with an incredible group of people who are driven to make a difference in folks’ lives,” he says. When not at work, Phillip enjoys being outside, where he hikes, mountain bikes, and generally enjoys the scenic Mountain West. “I will never lose my appreciation for the mountains when compared to the plains of Oklahoma,” he says. He also enjoys cooking as a way to relax at the end of the day.

Robert Buick

Rob was born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut. A passion for snowboarding and the outdoors led Rob to the University of Vermont where he obtained his undergraduate degree. Since graduating from the University of Vermont, Rob has obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of New Haven and an MBA from Regis University. After graduating from the University of Vermont Rob accepted a job in law firm that served the insurance industry. Since 2010, Rob has worked exclusively on behalf of individuals injured in auto accidents and other traumatic events. Working in the personal injury space has afforded Rob a keen understanding of the obstacles individuals face as they seek to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of a traumatic event. When not at work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Rob maintains a deep passion for the outdoors and the seemingly never-ending opportunities offered by the American Mountain West.
