Joseph Carey
Joseph Carey is the founder and principal attorney of Carey Law Office. He has lived in Maryland his entire life, growing up in Prince George’s County. His ambition to help people in a meaningful way, stemming from a personal experience with a friend's drug use, led him to pursue a career in law. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Maryland, College Park, and with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, becoming the youngest person to pass the Bar in Maryland at the time. Christina Caron-Moroney earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. She served as a Judicial Clerk and then as a prosecutor for Prince George’s County, MD for six years, gaining extensive trial experience in criminal cases. She now focuses on civil litigation, including personal injury and workers’ compensation, with over seven years of experience in these areas. Christina is also an adjunct professor at the College of Southern Maryland and an active board member on the Washington, D.C. Advisory Counsel for the Caron Treatment Centers.

Michael Scott
Michael Scott joined Mike Miller Law in 2024, specializing in civil law, personal injury, criminal defense, and workers' compensation. He earned his JD from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he participated in the Youth Education and Justice Clinic and served as a law clerk for the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office. After passing the Maryland Bar in 2021, he clerked for Judge Nicholas Rattal and worked as a public defender in Anne Arundel County from 2022 to 2024, gaining extensive trial experience. He holds a certificate in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.

Melissa Miller
Melissa Miller is the lead attorney at Mike Miller Law and specializes in criminal law, DWI and traffic law. She clerked for the Honorable William McCullough of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County and, for eight years, was an Assistant State's Attorney. She is a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Association, Calvert County Bar Association, Prince George's County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. Melissa is a life-long resident of Southern Maryland, a graduate of LaReine High School, Villanova University and Catholic University School of Law.

Rebecca Wells obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She clerked for the Honorable Nicholas E. Rattal and served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County. Rebecca joined Mike Miller Law in 2022 and is barred in Maryland and the District of Columbia, practicing as a general practice attorney.
