Elizabeth Greer Adams

Elizabeth Greer Adams is the owner and Founding Partner of the law firm, primarily practicing out of the Dayton office. She received her J.D. in 2003 from the University of Memphis School of Law and is a Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediator. With over 20 years of experience, she manages personal injury, criminal defense, and family law cases.

L. Thomas Austin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law in May 1973. He began his career at Noone and Stringer Law firm specializing in Civil Defense, then founded what eventually became Austin, Davis, & Mitchell Attorneys. He served as County Attorney for Sequatchie County for 9 years and on the Tennessee Board of Trial Lawyers for 10 years. He is currently Senior Partner, Owner, and Manager of Austin, Davis, & Mitchell Attorneys.

Thomas K. Austin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 and his Juris Doctorate from Nashville School of Law in May 2012. He interned for the Rutherford County Public Defenders Office and worked at Bone McAllester Norton, assisting attorneys in various legal areas including Personal Injury, Banking and Finance Law, Intellectual Property, Employment Law, and Civil Litigation.

M. Keith Davis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chattanooga in 1990. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis in May 1995. He has been a partner at Austin Davis & Mitchell since 1995, and previously worked part-time as a City Attorney for the City of Whitwell and as an Assistant Public Defender.

Michael Dowd

Michael Dowd is an Associate attorney with nearly 30 years of experience. He graduated from Cal-State University Long Beach (1992) and the University of Houston Law Center (1995). He has served as a prosecutor in Fort Bend County, Texas, and San Bernardino County, California, where he was a major crimes prosecutor and tried numerous murder cases. He also served as Chief Prosecutor for the City of Pasadena and Chief Homicide Prosecutor for Hamilton County. He is also a Professor of Law.

Jennifer Austin Mitchell received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University in 1997 and her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in May 2000. She began working for The Law Office of L. Thomas Austin in 2000, which eventually became Austin, Davis, & Mitchell Attorneys. She has also served as Attorney for the City of Whitwell and County Attorney for Sequatchie County, and has been a Rule 31 Mediator since 2008.
