Michael W. Gaughen

He is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University (B.A., 2010) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 2014). He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2014 and the Massachusetts Bar in 2015. He is admitted to all Massachusetts Trial Courts and the United States District Court for Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. He has been nominated by the American Institute of Legal Advocates as a Rising Star in the field of Family Law. Robert A. Lane

Attorney Robert A. “Drew” Lane joined Gaughen, Gaughen, Lane & Hernando, LLP in 1993. He formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. His practice areas include representing lenders, buyers and sellers of residential real estate, commercial real estate transactional matters, Medicaid (Mass. Health) planning, estate planning, estate settlement, estate administration, and various litigation matters. He is admitted to practice in both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, as well as all Massachusetts Trial Courts and the United States District Court for Massachusetts. He is a member of various professional associations including the Massachusetts Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, REBA, American Bar Association, Norfolk County Bar Association, and Plymouth County Bar Association. He is also a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Hingham Institution for Savings.

Kevin W. Gaughen, Jr.

Kevin W. Gaughen, Jr. joined the firm in 2009 from the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney. He is known for his zealous trial advocacy. He is a graduate of American University (B.A., 2004) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 2007). He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2007. He provides pro bono services to the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association, serves as Vice President of the Hingham Working Dog Foundation, and is a board member of the Hingham Institution for Savings. He concentrates his practice in Real Estate and General Litigation. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Norfolk County Bar Association, and The Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts.

Julio R. Hernando

Attorney Hernando’s focus is representing Banks, Real Estate Investors and various closely-held entities during commercial and residential transactions, as well as assisting clients with estate planning needs including estate and gift tax planning. He is extensively involved in community and professional activities, including lecturing at City Life/Vide Urbana, serving on the Governing Board of the Massachusetts Public Defenders Agency, and holding various positions in the Massachusetts Bar Association, including Chairmanship of the Access to Justice Section Council. He was also a past President of the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys and a Board Member of the Hyde-Jackson Square Main Streets Project. Kevin W. Gaughen

Kevin Gaughen joined his brother and father in the practice of law from the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office after serving in the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office. He was a 1976 graduate of Georgetown University and a 1979 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. He served as General Counsel for the East Weymouth Savings Bank and Hingham Institution for Savings. He oversaw the expansion of Gaughen, Gaughen, Lane & Hernando from a small general practice firm to the number one agent for Commonwealth Land Title, Boston in the Commercial/Residential areas.
