Adam M. Smallow
Adam M. Smallow is the President and Client Experience Officer at Adam Smallow Injury Lawyers. His mission at the firm is to ensure that all injured victims receive a superior client experience through high-quality medical care and crystal-clear communication. Originally from Philadelphia, Adam attended college at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and law school at Rutgers University in New Jersey. As the firm grew over the past decade, so did the quality of medical providers that are available to assist all clients. As the legal team grew, so did a culture of excellence that was dedicated to client care. Today, the firm represents injured victims across the state of Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region in the areas of car and truck crashes, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. Adam has developed several community initiatives in Harford County that include the Fill a Backpack event for local students at the beginning of the school year and the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Drive for senior citizens. Additionally, the Adam Smallow Injury Lawyers has partnered with Pathfinders for Autism, a Maryland non-profit organization that supports and improves the lives of individuals with autism and those who care for them. In 2022, Adam introduced the annual Attorneys for Autism Awareness event, a dinner, and a silent auction that raised significant funds for the Pathfinders organization. Joshua Goldberg
Joshua B. Goldberg is a partner in the Stroudsburg office of ARM Lawyers, where he has over 24 years’ experience handling personal injury and Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation claims. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, personal injury and civil litigation. Attorney Goldberg has handled all aspects of Workers’ Compensation matters; including throughout the appeals process as both a Claimant’s attorney and a defense attorney for various insurance carriers. He also has handled a variety of personal injury matters ranging from motor vehicle accidents to slip and falls to dog bites. His general litigation experience has taken him to numerous arbitrations and trials. He has also argued on several occasions before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth and Superior Courts. In January of 2015, The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys named Attorney Goldberg as a Top Ten Personal Injury Attorney for 2014. In 2015, Attorney Goldberg was honored as a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, which identifies the top 1% of all attorneys in each state in any given year.

Jobeth R. Bowers
Maryland Attorney Jobeth Bowers is the founder of Bowers Law and a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is active within the Cecil County Community, and a member of the Elkton BNI Chapter. He has handled personal injury claims for nearly a decade and has been handling criminal matters in court since he was in law school. He also devotes a significant amount of his time volunteering within the community, whether through county or state organized agencies or through his own pro bono efforts. He has received the prestigious honor of being named ‘Super Lawyer’ in each year that he has been admitted to practice, an honor only bestowed upon the top 2.5% of Maryland Lawyers.

Thomas L. Kemp
Thomas L. Kemp has over 30 years of experience representing thousands of personal injury clients in negotiations, settlements, arbitrations, mediations, and over 100 jury trials. He is dedicated to obtaining compensation for his clients. Prior to personal injury, Mr. Kemp was an assistant state’s attorney, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, which provided him with the aggressive edge needed to advocate for his clients. He is a well-known and respected trial lawyer, often assisting other attorneys with complex cases, and has authored legal articles and lectured at Arcadia University, Widener Law School, and Cecil College.

Sydney Comitz
Sydney is an attorney and the Office Manager of Bowers Law, LLC. She has been running the law practice alongside her husband, Jobeth Bowers, Esq. for nearly eight years. A dual Cum Laude Graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Business and the University of Baltimore School of Law, she has experience in handling both catastrophic injuries and death claims resulting from car accidents. She is deeply involved in volunteer advocacy for children in foster care and for victims of crimes and serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Maryland Crime Victims Resource Center.

Cecilia I. Lavrin
Cecilia I. Lavrin is a former registered nurse who worked on medical and obstetrical units. After graduating from law school, she spent the first six years defending physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in medical negligence suits. She then went on to act as the Director of Risk Management for a regional medical center for two years. For the last 20 years, Ms. Lavrin has used her background in nursing, defense law, and risk management to pursue cases involving medical and nursing home negligence and personal injury litigation, recovering millions of dollars on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining the Adam Smallow Injury Lawyers in 2022, she was an attorney at a major medical negligence firm and had managed her own law firm in Easton and Cambridge, Maryland, where she concentrated on representing victims of medical mistakes, as well as assisting other law firms with their medical and personal injury cases. Her background in nursing allows her to quickly and effectively review and understand medical records, choose the most effective medical experts, and consult with experts on an advanced level. She has litigated cases in Maryland at both the state and the federal level and has been admitted pro hac vice in the District of Columbia and the states of Tennessee, Virginia, New York, and Florida. Additionally, Ms. Lavrin has drafted briefs and argued cases before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
Jason Costanzo
Jason Costanzo represents individuals for estate planning and estate administration across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, focusing on planning for death, incapacity, and taxes. He has been recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” by The National Trial Lawyers and a “10 Best Attorney for Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service” by the American Institute of Legal Counsel. He authored “The Estate Planning Survival Guide” and is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
