J.P. Sawyer

J.P. Sawyer is the founding attorney at Sawyer Law Firm, specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, and nursing home abuse and neglect cases. J. Burruss Riis, Jr.

Burruss Riis was born and raised in Mobile, AL. He loves living on the gulf coast, and spends his free time fishing and sailing on Mobile Bay. Burruss and his wife live in Midtown. Mr. Riis started his Legal career handling personal injury cases, and fought insurance companies relentlessly in court. He has practiced criminal prosecution and defense, as well as family law. In 2021, Mr. Riis began practicing Bankruptcy Law and Joined Brock and Stout in the summer of 2023. He handles personal bankruptcies from start to finish for clients throughout the Southern District of Alabama. Whether Chapter 7 or Chapter 13, he will do all he can to help clients in their time of need. What I like best about my job I love that I get the opportunity to help people and when they are going through financial struggles. Quinn E. Brock

Quinn was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1973. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the states of Alabama and Florida, all Federal Courts in Alabama and the Northern District of Florida. Quinn’s primary area of practice has been Social Security Disability since 2000. He is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).

Amy C. Marshall

Born and raised in the Wiregrass, Ms. Marshall opened her firm with a focus on all aspects of family law to include divorce, child custody, dependency cases and modifications. She has served as the prosecutor for the City of Enterprise, the President of the Coffee County Bar Association, Fair Ballot Commission for the Secretary of State, and Leadership Forum. She graduated from Crenshaw Christian Academy in 2002. After high school she attended the University of Alabama and served as Head Judicial Board Officer over recruitment for Panhellenic Association, and was a member of Student Government Association, Student Alumni Association, Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Alpha Theta and Sigma Tau Delta. She also served as Athletic Hostess for the Alabama Crimson Tide football, baseball, gymnastics, and basketball teams. She graduated with honors and later attended Birmingham School of Law while both interning and clerking at two law firms. After graduation, Ms. Marshall moved to Alaska where she worked for the US Army in the office of the Judge Advocate General providing advice on all civil, criminal, and employment-related issues. She was selected into the IMCOM Pacific Region Mentoring Program and received two Civilian Medal of Achievement awards. After moving back to the wiregrass, she opened her own firm where she focuses on family law, divorce, child custody, and dependency cases. As an attorney, she has served as Prosecutor for the City of Enterprise, President of the Coffee County Bar Association, Leadership Forum, and served on the Fair Ballot Commission for the Secretary of State. She is an active member of various charity organizations and a member of Saint Luke United Methodist Church in Enterprise.

Walter Blakeney

Walter A. Blakeney was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1981. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Criminology and Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state of Alabama, all Federal Courts in Alabama and the Federal Court for the Northern District of Florida. He has been an attorney with Brock & Stout since 2007, exclusively handling Social Security cases since 2009. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).

Monica Rogina

Monica grew up in Kalispell, Montana. She attended college in Colorado and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. In 2003, she received her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Indiana. Monica joined Brock & Stout in July of 2019, and her primary area of practice is Social Security Disability.

Casey Taylor

Casey grew up in Decatur, Illinois and attended Eastern Illinois University where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After completing his undergraduate degree, Casey attended the University of Missouri School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2010. Casey spent the first nine years of his legal career as a public defender, appearing in state courts throughout Missouri, including the Missouri Supreme Court. He moved to Alabama and became licensed in state courts there in October 2019. Casey became licensed in the United States District courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama the following year. Casey joined Brock and Stout in March of 2020, and his primary area of practice is Consumer Bankruptcy.
