He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate degree. Mr. McCormick attended evening classes at St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio while working full-time at Dell Inc. In addition to managing a full-time corporate job and night school, Mr. McCormick completed a thesis focusing on cybersecurity law. His thesis was later published by Southern Methodist University School of Law. He spent extra time working in the school’s Center for Terrorism Law. When Mr. McCormick returned to the DFW area, he initiated the McCormick Law College Scholarship Program starting at Waxahachie High School in 2016. Each year successful students at WHS who attend the University of Texas at Austin are rewarded with college scholarships. Currently licensed in Texas and Arizona, she also holds federal court licensure in the Northern District of Texas. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, Ms. Pourabbas earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law. Ms. Pourabbas has received consistent recognition for her skills as an attorney, including being named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the last 5 consecutive years, and being recognized numerous times for having Top 50 and Top 100 settlements. Kyle Mathis

Kyle Mathis is the Chief Operating Officer at McCormick Law Firm and oversees the development of our 20-plus attorneys throughout the pre-litigation and litigation departments. Mr. Mathis grew up in Seguin, TX, and graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law. Kyle Mathis is licensed to practice law in 3 states (Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona) and one federal district. Mr. Mathis has settled well over $50,000,000 in personal injury cases ranging from wrongful death trucking accidents to slip and fall premise cases. He is known for the volume and complexity of cases he has handled over his career in multiple states. Clients have referred to Mr. Mathis as “professional and patient” and praise his ability to resolve cases quickly and for policy limits. Prior to joining McCormick Law Firm, Kyle Mathis spent considerable time working as a personal injury attorney in Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. Bryce Pearcy

Bryce Pearcy, a native of Granbury, Texas, is devoted to helping injured clients in DFW and around the country. After obtaining a Government degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Pearcy went back to his West Texas roots and received his JD from Texas Tech University School of Law. Mr. Pearcy worked with the Dispute Resolution Center and obtained qualification as a Texas Mediator while in law school. After law school, Bryce Pearcy moved to San Antonio to serve as an Assistant District Attorney with Bexar County. Mr. Pearcy tried dozens of misdemeanor criminal cases as a prosecutor in both Justice of the Peace and County Courts. In 2015, Mr. Pearcy began working at one of the largest personal injury firms in South Texas. After three years of settling injury cases and training new attorneys, he left for the greener pastures at The McCormick Law Firm. In his short time of practicing personal injury law, Mr. Pearcy has settled/approved well over $10,000,000.00 in injury settlements since 2015.
