Jim Freeman

James 'Jim' Freeman has over two decades of experience in law, including working for and against insurance companies. He founded The Law Offices of James M. Freeman, P.C. in 2006, focusing on advocating for vulnerable road users, particularly cyclists and pedestrians. Known as 'Lawyer Jim' in the cycling community, he educates clubs on legal cycling and is an avid bicyclist, runner, and martial artist.

A lifelong cyclist, he founded The Chicago Bicycle Advocate blog and is a certified bicycle instructor by the League of American Bicyclists.
