Charles Boyk

Chuck Boyk has been licensed to practice law in Ohio since 1983. His major areas of practice involve plaintiff personal injury, including car accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, slip and falls (premises liability), and construction accidents. Chuck’s other areas of practice include workers compensation, criminal defense and general civil litigation. He is licensed in all Ohio courts and the Eastern District of Michigan in Federal Court. During the past 40 years, Chuck has acted as counsel or co-counsel in numerous cases in other states, including California, Florida, Indiana, South Carolina, Michigan and New York. He is a lifelong resident of Ohio, born in Toledo, and graduated from Start High School in 1976. He attended Bowling Green State University on a debate scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialization in Political Science. He graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1983. Chuck is a member of the Toledo Bar Association, Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has also received a 10.0 “Superb” rating from the Avvo lawyer ranking system.

Michael Bruno

Mike Bruno was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from Sylvania High School in 1975 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Ohio University in 1979. He graduated from The University of Toledo Law School in 1983. From 1983 to 1989, Mike worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Lucas County, prosecuting hundreds of cases. Since 1989, he has primarily handled personal injury and insurance matters, trying over 100 jury trials throughout northwest Ohio, including a $1.25 million recovery. Mike has received a 10.0 “Superb” rating from the Avvo lawyer ranking system. He is a past president of the Italian American Sports Club and a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers.

Andrea Young

Andrea Young is an attorney at Charles Boyk Law, focusing on personal injury cases with empathy and passion. She grew up in West Toledo and graduated from Roy. C. Start High School. In 2010, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal studies from the University of Toledo. After working as a paralegal, she returned to the University of Toledo College of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2016 with Magna Cum Laude distinction and membership in The Order of the Coif. She is licensed in Ohio and Michigan and was awarded Super Lawyer for 2022 and 2023. Andrea is actively involved in various bar associations and committees.

Robert B. Hollister

Robert B. Hollister serves as Of Counsel, admitted to the bar in 1977. His practice areas include civil litigation, insurance defense law, personal injury claims, corporate and business law, farm and utility cooperative law, bankruptcy, subrogation, estate, and Medicaid law. He has held leadership positions in various bar associations and community boards.

Ted began his career with GT&B in 1988. His reputation and success record as a trial lawyer arguing before the Industrial Commission on behalf of injured workers, as well as in trial courts and the Supreme Court of Ohio, are well known. He is a well-respected writer and educator in the statewide workers’ compensation arena. William E. Clark was born in 1943, graduated from the University of Findlay in 1965 and Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1968. He joined the firm in 1973 after serving as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Assistant Solicitor. His practice areas include estate and business planning, asset protection, personal injury, commercial and employment litigation, and family law.
