Micheal S. Jackson was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 12, 1954. Mike attended Auburn University from which he graduated in 1976 with a B.A. degree in Journalism. After graduating from Auburn, Mike attended Cumberland School of Law, Samford University and obtained a Juris Doctorate in 1979, magna cum laude. While at Cumberland, Mike attained membership in the Cumberland Law Review (Associate Editor), the Moot Court Board (Associate Justice), Curia Honoris, and Phi Kappa Phi. Immediately after completing law school, Mike clerked for the late Hon. James Bloodworth, Associate Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, from 1979 to 1980. Mike then clerked for Hon.
