John W. Robertson

Paul L. Mangieri
Paul L. Mangieri is a partner and chief executive officer of the firm working primarily out of the Galesburg office. Upon graduation from law school in 1984, he proudly volunteered for service with the U.S. Navy as a JAG Corps Officer. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60), seeing two deployments overseas. Upon his release from active duty he began the private practice of law with the firm of Barash & Stoerzbach. From 1988 until 1996, Paul represented the citizens of west central Illinois in all areas of the law, but specialized in trial litigation, both civil and criminal, and had areas of specialty in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims. From 1996 until 2007, he served as the elected Knox County State’s Attorney. From 2007 until 2019, Paul was a Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where he presided over every type of legal claim.

LeRoy A. Compton
LeRoy was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1958. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1976. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University in 1980. He graduated from Southern Illinois University of Law in 1983. He joined the firm in 1986, and has over 36 years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury claims. He concentrates his practice solely in plaintiff’s personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death and premises liability claims.

Jim was born in East Peoria, Illinois in 1944. He graduated from East Peoria High School in 1962. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bradley University in 1966. He graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law in 1969. Jim joined the law firm of Goldfine & Bowles, P.C. in 1980. In his 29 years with the firm, he has practiced in all areas of plaintiff’s personal injury and worker’s compensation.

William K. Brown (Retired)
Bill was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1950. He graduated from Pekin High School in 1968. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Tulane University in 1972. He graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law in 1976. From 1977 to 1984, he was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Tazewell County, Illinois. Bill joined the firm in 1984.
