She received her B.S. in Education cum laude from Memphis State University in 1976. After returning to the Memphis area when her husband completed his service as an officer with the United States Navy, she earned her law degree at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1996. Ms. Horner is admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of Tennessee, the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. In her spare time, she loves spending time by the pool with her family and grandchildren.
