Andre P. Gauthier

Lee “Jody” Amedee III

Lee “Jody” Amedee III has been practicing law since 1996. His love for people started at an early age when he worked with his grandfather and dad at their family restaurant in Geismar. He learned what hard work and determination meant at an early age. This work ethic propelled him through his life to be a successful trial lawyer. Jody grew up showing livestock animals and excelling in sports. Jeff Diez

Jeff Diez has extensive practice in governmental law and education law. He has represented the Ascension Parish School Board as general counsel since 1991, and the Ascension Parish Council as special counsel since 2000. His legal services for the school board include education issues, employee rights, civil rights, real estate/property law, public funding and taxation, policy development, personal injury defense, and student discipline. Similar cases and issues are addressed as special Parish counsel.

Robert Ryland Percy, III

Ryland Percy is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received a B.S. in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1971 and his M.S. in Administration from the University of Guam in 1974. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Law Center in 1976. Ryland retired as a Rear Admiral in the United States Navy in 2007 after 36 years of active and reserve service. Ryland’s principal practice areas include general and commercial litigation, real estate, business transactions, corporations, class action administration, personal injury, and governmental law. Ryland is a member of the 23rd Judicial District and Louisiana State Bar Associations. He holds an AV-Preeminent Rating from the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory for meeting the highest level of professional excellence.

Gordon R. Crawford

Gordon R. Crawford has practiced law in Gonzales, Louisiana since 1964. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1964 and practiced before U.S. District Courts for Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. He served as Assistant District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District Court from 1975 to 1987. He has successfully tried cases or effected settlements for several clients in excess of $1,000,000.00, including a $7,635,778.50 judgment in a defective product case. He has served on the Board of Regents of Liberty University and is on the Board of Directors of United Community Bank, where he served as Chairman for many years. He is an ordained Baptist Deacon.

Jamie Schutte

Meet Jamie Schutte, Partner at Percy Law. Jamie is an integral part of the trial and litigation team at Percy Law. Jamie truly enjoys representing her clients alongside Matt in the courtroom. Together they have been successful in achieving positive jury trial verdicts for multiple clients. Jamie has exceptional legal research and writing skills and is a skilled strategist when it comes to litigation. Together, Jamie and Matt have achieved success on behalf of and against local and nationally recognized companies. In addition to litigation, Jamie helps her business and construction clients with the management of regular business operations, such as contract review, liens, and employment issues, and more complex situations, such as litigation and the buying and selling of assets. Jamie is also passionate about representing municipal bodies and other public entities. The local level of government is where services get delivered to our community, and Jamie is honored to be integral in that process. Jamie joined Percy Law in 2019 after working at a personal injury firm where she gained valuable experience as a litigator. She earned her J.D. and Master’s in biomedical sciences from the University of Denver. She received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Louisiana State University. During law school, she worked for a biotechnology company assisting with its intellectual property portfolio and the technology transfer process. Jamie is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Ascension Chamber of Commerce, a member of the East Ascension Rotary Club, and member of the Gonzales Area Foundation committee.
