Carl McCue obtained his B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Maine in 1976 and went on to study at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. He then graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland in 1979. Carl is licensed to practice law in the State of Maine and was admitted to the US District Court and District of Maine in 1980.
Debra McCue
Debra McCue obtained her B.A. in Business at the University of Maine in Orono. She also participated in a Master’s Program for Social Work at the University of Connecticut. She obtained her J.D. in 1997 from the New England School of Law, and became a role model at the school and an example to women who have young children.
James Wholly
Jim Wholly has substantial experience representing debtors in bankruptcy cases under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13. He obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in 1980. He then served as a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1984. He earned his J.D. and graduated cum laude in his 1987 Boston College Law School class. James worked as an attorney and partner at the Bangor law firm of Gross, Minsky & Mogul from 1987 until 2002, primarily practicing in the area of bankruptcy. From 2002 until 2016, he served as a career law clerk to Bankruptcy Court Judges Kornreich (2002 to 2015) and Fagone (2015 to 2016). He was also a judge advocate in the Maine Air National Guard from 1990 until 2013, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Jim joined McCue Law Office in September, 2016.
Kensuke Fukuchi
Kensuke Fukuchi earned his B.A. in Criminology and Latin from the University of Toronto in 2009 and then went on to get his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. Kenny has previously worked as a contract attorney handling Social Security Disability and multinational litigations. He worked as a Japanese interpreter and translator in variety of industries. Kenny has an abundance of experience and knowledge in the legal field, and he will be taking on the firms’ Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, and miscellaneous cases. He has been spending his spare time getting settled in and becoming familiar with all Maine has to offer. *Pending admittance to practice in Maine*
